What the calculator does and does not do
It does: apply the rolling 90-days-in-180 arithmetic to the entry date and past-trip dates you enter, and report a maximum stay, the days already used, an earliest re-entry estimate, and a day-by-day timeline.
It does not:
- Know your nationality and any nationality-specific rules or bilateral agreements.
- Know your visa type, its conditions, or any residence status you hold.
- Account for a prior overstay, entry ban, or other flag on your record.
- Account for exceptional-circumstances extensions, diplomatic or service passports, or crew exemptions.
- Guarantee that a border officer will admit you — entry is always at the officer's discretion, based on passport validity, purpose of travel, funds, onward travel, and security checks.
A result of "within the limit" means the dates you entered do not breach 90/180 as calculated here. It is not a promise of entry, and it is only as accurate as the trip history you provide.
Accuracy and change
Schengen rules, and especially the rollout timelines for the Entry/Exit System (EES) and ETIAS, can change at short notice. We update the guides when we become aware of changes and show a "last updated" date on each, but we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the latest position at the moment you read it. Always cross-check anything important against the official sources linked in each guide.
